Asghar Ali Engineer Memorial Lecture was held on14 May 2014 at the India International Centre in New Delhi. Three part video recording of the main event i.e. Public lecture by Prof. Mushirul Hasan titled ’Meaning, Metaphor and Martyrdom in Colonial India’ (part 1, part 2, part 3). The Lecture was organised under the aegis of the Centre for Study of Society and Secularism and Dr Asghar Ali Memorial Committee.
